How to eliminate the VX2/Looktome Browser Hijack:

  1. Download LSPfix (Winsock repair tool) from http://cexx.org/LSPFix.exe.  VX2 can damage Windows Winsock.  Do not run it until after the next step and only if you loose your Internet connectivity.

  2. Setup Adaware with the VX2 plugin.  There are some good instructions at http://russelltexas.com/malware/adawarese/vx2plugin.htm. 

  3. Run Adaware and reboot your system.
